The company is an international group with operations in several markets and a clear growth agenda. The organization has grown through acquisitions and is now in a phase where a recently acquired company needs to be integrated and harmonized into the existing structure.

The group consists of two main business areas with operations across several legal entities spread throughout Europe and South America. The company is characterized by an entrepreneurial culture and a high pace of change.

About the Role of Group Business Controller

In the role of Group Business Controller, you will hold a central position in the work of integrating and further developing the recently acquired company within the group. You will work closely with the CFO of the acquired company as well as the heads of other parts of the group, becoming a key person in creating structure, transparency, and a more unified financial framework.

This is an interim assignment of at least 6 months, starting immediately. The role is broad and combines operational work with a clear group focus, where you are expected to dive deep into the operations to identify areas for improvement, drive profitability initiatives, and contribute to change. You will work closely with local teams in several countries and serve as a financial support to the business, while also helping to tie together the work between the companies and create a more unified structure. The focus is on developing forecasting, strengthening cash flow management, and improving profitability.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the financial function within one of the group's business areas
• Drive the harmonization of processes and ways of working across different parts of the group
• Work with forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial follow-up
• Analyze results and identify improvement and profitability opportunities
• Act as a finance business partner to the operations and support international teams
• Create structure and transparency in a complex, international environment with multiple legal entities

About You

To succeed in this role, you are an experienced professional in controlling or finance, with experience working in international and changing environments. You thrive in a role that combines analysis with operational work and are motivated by creating structure where it is not always present.

Key Requirements for the Role:

• Several years of experience in controlling, preferably in an international environment
• Good understanding of financial analysis, forecasts, and cash flow
• Experience in establishing structure and driving improvement work
• Very good communication skills and experience working internationally
• Fluent English in both spoken and written form

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in acquisition-intensive or owner-led companies
• Experience working with Eastern European markets
• Knowledge of Polish is a plus
