System Engineer for Next-Generation Communication and Sensor Systems
Syntronic ABÖstergötlands län, Linköping
Previous experience is desired
Syntronic builds deep expertise in electronics, embedded systems, and mechatronics to meet our customers' demands and develop the most advanced and reliable technical solutions for the future. Our assignments involve complex systems where robustness, quality, and long-term sustainability are central.
We are currently seeking skilled System Engineers who wish to join a unique and technically advanced team responsible for requirements management and systems engineering in the development of next-generation communication and sensor systems. The role involves translating needs from customers and the business into clear system requirements that form the basis for the design, integration, and verification of advanced products and functions. If you want to work close to the technology and contribute to solutions in technically demanding environments, this is a role for you.
As a System Engineer at Syntronic, you will:
Define system architectures, interfaces, and specify functional, performance, and regulatory requirements
Work systematically with requirements management throughout the entire development lifecycle, for example using tools such as IBM DOORS or similar requirements management systems
Act as the "hub" where you, together with developers and other stakeholders, shape, break down, and maintain the requirements picture
Ensure traceability between requirements, design, and verification, and analyze deviations from requirements
We are looking for a System Engineer who:
Has a university degree or civil engineer education in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Physics, or equivalent
Has experience from commercial projects within embedded systems in a system-leading role or as a software and/or hardware developer
Has worked with structured requirements management and preferably in tools such as DOORS
Has a good understanding of working in quality-controlled or regulation-driven development environments
Fluently speaks and writes Swedish and English
The position may be subject to requirements according to current security clearance regulations. For roles placed in security classifications, this may also involve citizenship requirements in certain cases.
Syntronic offers a secure employment in a dynamic and forward-looking environment. Being a team is our strength, so we expect you to work together on-site with us at the office – when you are not needed at one of our customers, of course.
Personal qualities
As a system engineer at Syntronic, you value structure, planning, and order without losing your creative side. You are cooperative, social, and communicative, as the work requires a lot of collaboration internally as well as with customers and partners.
We offer
At Syntronic, you become part of a wonderful community where your voice is heard and your ideas are welcome. We offer flexible working hours, a balance between work and leisure, as well as regular career development discussions and internal workshops for your growth. In addition, you receive favorable benefits and insurance. With us, you get not just a job – you get a place to grow and thrive both personally and professionally. Welcome to Syntronic!

For communication and quality assurance reasons, we ask you to submit your application digitally via our system and not via email.
