MiniBladet is now looking for a freelance journalist who wants to develop our Reporter School and write content adapted for children. The role also involves some editing. The position starts in June 2026.

MiniBladet is a news medium based on the idea that children have the same right as adults to access information about what is happening in the world, but in a way that is adapted to their age. We have also developed our Reporter School, where children are given journalistic assignments and become local mini-reporters. We are now looking for an enthusiastic journalist who wants to work with us!

Your qualifications:

• Journalism education or experience working in journalism.
• Experience working with and writing for children. Pedagogical experience is a plus.
• Creative and sees the design of new journalistic assignments for mini-reporters as a creative challenge. Source criticism is particularly important to you.
• Structured and skilled at meeting deadlines, but flexible as quick actions are sometimes required for current events. You enjoy juggling multiple tasks.
• We work largely from the heart – we hope you do too.
• Experience working with WordPress is a plus.
• Experience in project management, marketing, and/or communications is a plus.
