On a warship, large amounts of data from sensors and subsystems must be collected, interpreted, and work together at the right moment. In this role, you become a key person in the work of ensuring that the combat management system's software functions stably on both computers and specially built hardware. You work in a technologically advanced environment within the defense industry where every delivery has its own prerequisites and where troubleshooting, integration, and system understanding are crucial.

The role suits you if you like tackling complex problems, creating structure in what initially feels unclear, and then driving the entire process to a working solution. You collaborate closely with integrators, testers, and developers, and the work takes place in an office environment, test facilities, and sometimes on board ships. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to work close to advanced marine systems with real significance.

• You configure software and networks so that the combat management system functions in its intended environment.
• You integrate software on computers and specially built hardware.
• You troubleshoot complex problems in large systems where several components and interfaces need to work together.
• You operate simulators and support the verification of system functionality.
• You clarify interfaces against other suppliers' products and contribute to functioning wholes.
• You interpret code when necessary to understand behaviors and fault patterns, even though the role is not a pure coding assignment.
• You document solutions and working methods, while also being able to quickly adapt when priorities change.

• Technical background, for example, university or civil engineering degree or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in similar work.
• Good ability to structure and solve technical problems in complex systems.
• Experience working independently and driving your work forward, while collaborating closely with others.
• You are proficient in Swedish and English.
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance check (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted).

• In-depth knowledge of Windows.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux, primarily Ubuntu.
• Experience with switches and networks.
