Your responsibilities

In the role of support technician at SAAB, you will have varied tasks. It is technical support in a primary Windows environment, and within the first area, you will be the filter, the classic first line of a service desk. Here you receive calls, resolve cases, and document in detail. The goal is, of course, to resolve as many cases as possible at the front line, but cases that you cannot resolve are forwarded to colleagues in Backoffice. You will mostly receive calls in Swedish and less often in English, but all documentation will be done in English. SAAB works in the case management system ServiceNow.

In the "Backoffice" area, you work on resolving cases that have come in via phone, chat, or portal. The cases that you and your colleagues could not resolve in the first contact move to Backoffice in the first step, but cases coming from the Service Portal also land here. Here you have the opportunity to get help from nearby colleagues as well as colleagues in other levels, and to search for information in portals and documentation to find a solution to a case. Within Backoffice, you only receive calls during major disruptions and therefore have the opportunity to work a bit more undisturbed and deepen your knowledge of technology and various problems. This therefore provides good opportunities to develop your competence, which you can benefit from when you next staff the front line.

In the "Request fulfillment" area, you will work with orders that may, among other things, require physical handling. Much has been automated regarding orders, but some steps must simply be done by a person.

Your profile

You who apply for this position thrive in a role where you take a lot of personal responsibility and enjoy the variety of working in the three different roles. You are verbal and like service. With a positive attitude, you accept and solve the problems and challenges you encounter in the role. Furthermore, you care about providing first-class service and always putting the customer in focus.

We would like you to have:

  • Completed upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on IT / Technology
  • A desire to work with remote service and help people with technical problems
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English – in speech and writing
  • Good knowledge of Windows

For positions where security clearance is required, special citizenship requirements may apply, and Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this position.
