In Stockholm, our automation department is divided into two sections located in Sollentuna, Västberga, and Södertälje, and we are now looking for a new colleague for Sollentuna.

About the role of Automation Technician

As an Automation Technician, you will be a face for our customers and work on creating smart, energy-efficient, and sustainable buildings. You are responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing control and monitoring systems that ensure operational safety, comfort, and reduced energy consumption.

Your responsibilities

As an Automation Technician, you will primarily be responsible for commissioning at our customers' facilities as a technical specialist. Some programming may be required for changes and PM/ETA after a programmer has handed over the program for commissioning. The long-term goal is for you to also program your own facilities to be commissioned. The tasks vary, offering you an exciting and developing daily routine. You are responsible for the technical solutions – with a focus on high quality and customer satisfaction.

The role includes among other things:

• Programming and commissioning of PLC, DUC, and HMI/SCADA.
• Conversion in switchgear cabinets and some additions to installations.
• Material orders.
• Contact with subcontractors for installation and switchgear cabinets.
• Participation in various project meetings.
• Leading or participating in coordinated functional tests and inspections.
• Troubleshooting and technical support, responsible for assisting customers with operational issues and problems.

Your background

We are looking for you who have the right attitude – the desire to learn, the desire to share knowledge, the desire to be challenged, and the desire to do that little extra.

Aside from your drive, we would like you to have:

• At least two years of experience in automation with good experience in commissioning building automation systems.
• Advantageous experience with brands such as Saia, Distech, Larmia, Schneider, and Webport.
• Good knowledge of various communication protocols such as Modbus, Bacnet, and M-Bus.
• A structured, careful, and solution-oriented personality who thrives with new challenges and dynamic work.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
