We are now looking for staff for Special Housing – Björkgården in Västerfärnebo.

A driver's license and access to a car are required as you need to commute to and from the workplace.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

We work with person-centered care where the residents' wishes and needs are in focus. It is a fun and social job where you need to be able to listen, show respect, and create a meaningful everyday life. The work is varied and includes daily activities and outdoor time.

In the job, you help people with, among other things, care, dressing and undressing, hygiene, and assistance during meals. Medical care is performed by delegation from a nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You must be at least 18 years old at the time of employment.
• You should have the ability to receive delegation from a nurse, which means you will administer medication or provide medical care. In some operations, delegation is a requirement.
• You need to be able to speak, write, and understand Swedish as documentation and communication are important parts of the job.
• You need to be able to use a computer, iPad, and iPhone.
• Good physical condition.
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
• Driver's license and access to your own car.

MERITS

• High school education, Care and Nursing program, or Child and Youth program.
• Healthcare experience.
• Language skills in addition to Swedish.
• Competence in different methods/working styles, e.g., within dementia, AAC, MI, etc.

OTHER

• During the summer period, we work weeks 25–33.
• We provide aids and protective equipment, e.g., face masks and visors.
• From July 1, 2023, "undersköterska" (assistant nurse) is a protected title. This means that as an assistant nurse, you need to apply for a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare and present it to the employer to be allowed to call yourself an assistant nurse.
• We will require you to show a criminal record extract for work in the home with the elderly and people with disabilities, which is ordered on the Police website. This starts to apply on March 2, 2026.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

Fixed-term employment, hourly wage.

Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekends.
