At Multiply, you will be part of our Safety & Lifecycle team, where documentation is a critical part of ensuring operational reliability, maintainability, and knowledge transfer across complex systems.
You will also contribute to VisFlow and Multiply Academy, where structured, traceable, and data-driven documentation supports the full system lifecycle—from development to operation and maintenance.
Your Responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and instructions for advanced systems with a strong hardware focus
- Structure and manage documentation using XML-based tools and CMS platforms (e.g., UpTime or similar)
- Work with and apply S1000D or similar standards for technical publications
- Visualize maintenance, service, and repair procedures, including system-level and component-level perspectives
- Develop documentation in both English and Swedish
- Collaborate closely with system engineers, ILS engineers, developers, and domain experts
- Build strong product understanding through hands-on validation and participation in testing activities (hardware and system level)
- Contribute to training material, knowledge bases, and customer-facing documentation
- Support or deliver technical training sessions internally and towards customers
Required Qualifications
- Relevant education in technical documentation, technical illustration, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience working as a technical writer or technical illustrator
- Strong proficiency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
- Ability to understand and document complex technical systems, primarily hardware with embedded software components
- Experience working with structured documentation (XML / CMS environments)
Meriting Experience
- Experience with UpTime 4 or similar XML/CMS-based documentation tools
- Knowledge of S1000D or other structured documentation standards
- Experience documenting hardware systems, defence systems, or safety-critical products
- Familiarity with Simplified Technical English (STE)
- Experience producing documentation for software-integrated systems
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for technical visualization
- Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments
- Swedish citizenship (or eligibility for security clearance) is considered an advantage
Why Multiply
At Multiply, you work at the intersection of technology, structure, and operational knowledge. Your work enables organizations to transform complex hardware and system environments into clear, reliable, and usable documentation that supports safety, uptime, and lifecycle efficiency.
