About Us

Åsidan Health Centre is an established health centre with just over 12,000 registered patients and approximately 50 employees. All professions within primary care are represented at the unit. We also have a family centre in Brandkärr.

Åsidan Health Centre is located in close proximity to the E4 highway and the train station, which facilitates commuting.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include collaboration with other professions, teamwork regarding simple and more complex conditions, clinical assessments, and actions with a person-centered approach. You work with a health-promoting perspective and serve as a support for people of all ages and conditions. You make independent assessments, examinations, and triage to the correct level of care.

You meet your patients in person, virtually, or via phone.

We strive for generalist competence, as the breadth of our assignment areas is large. There is also room to specialize in specific areas such as diabetes, asthma-COPD, hypertension/heart failure, memory clinics, as well as coordination for our elderly in collaboration with inpatient care and the municipality.

You have the opportunity to conduct improvement and development work, mentor colleagues, and students. Working on primary care emergency duty for occasional weekend shifts is also included.

There is an opportunity to influence your working hours within given frameworks, as well as some possibility for remote work.

Our documentation system is Cosmic.

Your Competence

Primarily, we need and are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education as a district nurse. However, if you are a registered nurse with longer experience in primary care, you are also welcome to apply.

If you have previous experience from primary care and reception work, or have one or more specialized competencies such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, heart failure, dementia, or coordination, this is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who enjoys clinical work and finds it easy to collaborate and discuss with colleagues across all our professional groups.

You have good initiative and the ability to make independent decisions. We value your ability to work well with other people and relate to them in a listening and flexible manner. You are a good communicator, secure, and stable with well-founded and clear values on which you base your actions. You have a positive attitude towards development work and the ability to see opportunities when conditions change.

Good language skills in Swedish and good IT skills are required. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
