About the role

As a network planner, you play a crucial role in optimizing the development of the power grid. In this role, you work on planning and designing the power grid for various areas such as residential and commercial areas, industrial zones, solar parks, battery storage facilities, and charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

The team you will be working with consists of approximately 35 people, with a focus on team spirit and helpfulness. What we offer

• The position starts as a consultancy role through Academic Work on a full-time basis at the network planning unit at Ellevio

Responsibilities

• Develop network plans and analyses for the power grid
• Create budget, investment, and profitability calculations
• Create line diagrams in AutoCAD
• Prepare pricing and send quotes to customers
• Invoicing and case administration
• Perform credit checks

We are looking for someone who

• Has fluent skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has a relevant university degree in fields such as electrical power, electrical engineering, energy, and environment
• If you do not have the education, it is relevant if you have professional experience such as a preparer or line technician
• Have the possibility to work locally at Ellevio's office in Karlstad

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with Netbas
• Knowledge in business economics
• Experience with credit checks and invoicing
