Job Description

The exact tasks assigned to you will depend on your experience, but in your role as a construction worker / pipe fitter, you will gradually take on a varied and stimulating role involving:

• constructing new roads, roundabouts, and bike lanes
• developing new commercial and residential areas
• designing outdoor environments, such as ponds and stone paving
• maintaining and improving water, electricity, and fiber networks as well as street lighting
• etc

If you have experience operating excavators (wheeled & tracked), you might be selected as our reserve operator, taking over the controls when one of our regular operators is on leave, etc.

Qualifications

We would like you to have genuine practical experience from working as a construction worker / pipe fitter or similar. To succeed in your assignment, you need to have knowledge of several of the areas listed below, but not necessarily all of them. For the parts you lack, we will train you in over time:

• earthworks, excavation
• water and sewer renovation
• relining + pipe bursting
• pipe laying for water/sewer and electricity, etc.
• cable laying
• reading drawings
• familiar with digital tools
• TA (Technical Approval)
• safety / risk assessments

As a person, you are:

• comfortable taking responsibility and able to plan and prioritize your work

• structured, meticulous, and orderly
• interested in technology and safety-conscious
• a team player who contributes to a good team spirit
• service-oriented and focused on delivering quality

Requirements:

• experience in construction work, laying pipes and electrical cables, etc.
• courses "Work on the Road" and "Digging Near Cables"
• Category B driver's license
• To benefit from project-related information, and for the safety of both you and your colleagues, deep knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing is required.

Meritorious but not required:

• knowledge and experience in operating excavators (wheeled & tracked)
