Teacher in Social Studies and Natural Science

Are you an engaged and relationship-building teacher who is passionate about motivating, coaching, and teaching our young people? We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for our students and develop together with us.

Hörby Vocational High School is an independent upper secondary school focusing on the Construction and Infrastructure Programme and the Vehicle and Transport Programme. Our premises are located approximately five minutes from the bus stop.

For the academic year 2026, we are seeking a new colleague to teach Social Studies and Natural Science. The position may involve teaching based on both the Gy11 and Gy25 curricula.

As a teacher with us, we expect you to:

• Be confident in your role as a teacher and have clear classroom leadership, creating a safe and good learning environment for the students.
• Collaborate actively with your colleagues.
• Have the ability to provide differentiated instruction to meet students' individual needs.
• Have a solution-focused approach.
• Hold a teaching license or be awaiting your teaching license.

The employment is a permanent position at 30%. The application deadline is 2026-05-31, but interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the deadline.

A certificate from the Swedish National Police Board (extract from the criminal record) must be submitted prior to employment.
