Do you want to work close to the technology and build long-term customer relationships within the Swedish industry? Stigab Stig Ödlund AB is now looking for a technical outside sales representative who wants to develop our existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities in the Swedish market.

About the role

In the role of technical outside sales representative, you will work with high-quality technical components and system solutions, often adapted to the customer's specific application and requirements. A large part of the work takes place in close dialogue with the customers' development and design departments, where technical understanding, advisory skills, and the ability to build trust are crucial. Consequently, the work is varied and relationship-driven, as you act as a technical partner to the customer – from needs analysis and dialogue to quotation, order, and further development of the collaboration.

Your main responsibilities

  • Be responsible for and further develop existing customer relationships in Sweden
  • Identify and process new customers and business opportunities
  • Conduct technical dialogues with customers, primarily engineers and developers
  • Find technical solutions adapted to customer needs together with the customers
  • Handle quotations, follow-ups, and some project coordination
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and suppliers

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a technical background or strong technical interest
  • Has experience from technical sales or a similar role, or alternatively work close to technology/production/design
  • Is communicative and thrives in meetings with different types of people
  • Has the ability to understand the customer's technical needs and translate them into solutions
  • Works in a structured and independent manner
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Has a valid driver's license (Category B)

Merits

  • Experience from industry, component sales, or technical trading
  • Experience working with engineers or development departments
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and business systems
