About the Role
As a Finnish-speaking Economic Assistant for our client in Varberg, you will become an important part of the economic and administrative work. You will handle daily accounting tasks, vouchers, invoice processing, as well as support for the finance and payroll functions as needed. The role also involves contact with suppliers and customers in both Swedish and Finnish, as well as some reporting and reconciliations.
Responsibilities
- Accounting for supplier and customer invoices
- Matching and posting of vouchers
- Reconciliation of accounts and reporting to management
- Contact with suppliers and customers in Finnish and Swedish
- Support during monthly and annual closing as well as administrative tasks in financial systems
About You
Formal Qualifications
We are looking for you who have upper secondary education in economics or equivalent work experience. Experience with financial systems and good knowledge of the Office suite are required. You express yourself well orally and in writing in both Finnish and Swedish. A B-class driver's license is an advantage.
Experience and Skills
- Experience with ongoing accounting and invoice processing
- Familiarity with reconciliation procedures and reporting
- Accustomed to working in financial systems (e.g., Visma, Fortnox, or equivalent)
- Service-oriented and communicative, especially in contact with Finnish-speaking parties
Personal Attributes
You are meticulous, structured, and enjoy administrative tasks. You work independently as well as in a team, prioritize effectively, and have a solution-oriented approach. Flexibility and good customer service in contact with customers and suppliers are important.
Advantages
It is an advantage if you have education or experience within accounting, experience working in international or bilingual environments, and knowledge of Swedish and Finnish accounting standards.
