We are now hiring a temporary staff member at HVB Spjutsbygd.

What do we do? At Nytida HVB Spjutsbygd, you will meet young people with varying needs for treatment and care. As a temporary staff member, you work on treatment interventions individually and in groups. The job involves supporting our young people in daily life and social activities. Together we cook, clean, go on outings, exercise, talk, and much more. You must be able to document and have a valid B-class driver's license.

Shifts are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and for sleeping on-call duty. Awake night shifts may also occur.

About HVB Spjutsbygd

Nytida HVB Spjutsbygd is a treatment home located just outside Karlskrona. The facility has ten places, but we always make a qualified assessment regarding how many young people we have placed simultaneously. The goal is for the young person to have an increased quality of life after completing treatment. HVB Spjutsbygd serves boys and girls aged 13 to 18. The young people placed at HVB Spjutsbygd often have psychosocial issues, risk-taking behavior, norm-breaking behavior, relationship problems, and school difficulties. The young people may also have a neuropsychiatric disability that complicates the situation.

You have a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the facility. We also have a nurse connected to the operation.

Your experience and knowledge We believe that you who apply to us:

• are attracted to a varied job that requires extensive knowledge of care and support and enjoy meeting people in different situations.
• are a creative person who dares to think for yourself and take responsibility.
• enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues.

We prefer that you are trained as a treatment pedagogue and have experience in similar work. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will provide support and opportunities for growth.
