WORK TASKS

As a Social Secretary at the Social Assistance Unit, you will investigate and assess the right to financial assistance according to current legislation. Documentation is an important part of the assignment and requires that you have a good ability to write in a clear and understandable way. You will collaborate closely with the municipality's labor market unit. Collaboration with both internal and external actors is a natural and important part of the assignment to create the best possible conditions for the individual.

The unit continuously works on developing and improving its working methods. For several years, RPA (Robotic Process Automation) has been used, which contributes to an automated and efficient case processing process. At the workplace, there are well-established routines and structures that create good conditions for quality, legal certainty, and a sustainable working environment.

As a new employee, you will receive an individually tailored introduction. We apply mentorship during the introduction period. In your daily work, you will receive support from a close and accessible management in the form of team leaders and unit managers. You are offered external supervision, continuous competence development, and health care during working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a social worker or have another university education that the employer considers equivalent. Good knowledge of current legislation is meritorious. The work requires a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You have the ability to make independent decisions within the framework of your assignment. Qualities such as being flexible and having good collaboration skills are valuable in the work. Great importance will be attached to your personal suitability.
