About the Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a meticulous and analytical Validator with a focus on raw materials. Our client is an innovative company based in Malmö. As a Validator, you play a crucial role in ensuring that incoming materials meet the highest quality standards and comply with strict regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Your Main Tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for the validation and control of incoming raw materials, which includes everything from salts to various types of solvents such as methanol.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning, conducting, and documenting validation studies for raw materials.
• Performing chemical analyses and controls according to current specifications.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with GMP and internal quality management systems.
• Interpreting results and handling any deviations in the process.

Qualifications

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a strong chemical engineering background and thrive in a laboratory environment where attention to detail is paramount.

Requirements for the position:

• Relevant academic education in chemistry, biotechnology, or equivalent.
• Experience with validation work within the pharmaceutical industry or related regulated sectors.
• Practical experience with instrumental analysis methods, with a special focus on IR spectroscopy and Gas Chromatography (GC).
• Good understanding of the handling of chemicals and solvents.
• Ability to express yourself well in writing, as documentation is a central part of the role.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience working specifically with peptides or amino acids.
• Knowledge of liquid chromatography (HPLC).
