One of our employees at the central kitchen is moving on to new challenges, and we are therefore looking for a new colleague for Matpolen in Jokkmokk Municipality.

Matpolen prepares and delivers meals to the elderly care, home help service, OBS department, as well as schools, preschools, and upper secondary schools. With us, you become part of an operation that contributes to good meals and a better everyday life for many people every day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an administrative assistant (economibiträde) with us, you will work broadly within large-scale catering with varying tasks. The role includes, among other things, preparation and salad handling, plating and some cooking, as well as dishwashing and cleaning. You are also responsible for service and customer interaction with our guests. The work is varied and takes place both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in a team.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are flexible and service-oriented, with a good attitude towards both colleagues and guests. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are stress-resistant, and have good teamwork skills, while also being able to work independently when required. Furthermore, we see that you are structured, have good planning skills, and a genuine interest in food and service.

For the position, experience from working in a kitchen or restaurant is required. A restaurant education is meritorious, as is knowledge of food hygiene and special diets/allergies. Since the work involves handling recipes, special diets, and various types of lists, it is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

The salary range for this position is between 26,000 - 28,000 SEK/month. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and competence.
