About the role

As a test engineer with our client, you work as a test leader, responsible for planning, conducting, and documenting high-voltage tests on transformers and reactors. You will work in a team with other test leaders, test specialists, and testers, focusing on ensuring that each product meets technical requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities

The role involves a mix of practical and theoretical work, with varying pace depending on the project. There is also an opportunity to contribute to digitalization projects and process development within the department.

• Lead and perform electrical tests on transformers and reactors in our client's laboratory
• Responsible for handling and storing test results, controlled documentation, and test reports
• Collaborate and communicate with customers as well as internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure that testing work and deliveries are carried out according to schedule and quality goals
• Contribute to a safe and sustainable quality culture within the department
• Represent the company as a technical expert in high-voltage testing

We are looking for you who

• Have completed an engineering degree in electrical engineering, electrical technology, or equivalent
• Speak fluent English in both speech and writing, and speak and write Swedish without difficulty

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience with test procedures and have worked in a similar role previously
• Experience working with power components
