As a restaurant assistant here, you work closely with our guests and contribute to a pleasant and well-functioning dining atmosphere. Greeting, hospitality, and sales are an important part of the experience, and you are passionate about giving the guest that little extra.

This position is a 'call-in' or on-demand employment, meaning you step in as needed – for example, during high demand, extra orders, or when regular staff are absent. Therefore, it is important that you are flexible and can work in several of our areas: the dining hall, bistro, and café. We cannot guarantee a specific number of shifts per week.

• Restaurant – buffet lunch for approx. 800 guests per day
• Bistro – à la carte menu for approx. 150 guests per day
• Café – coffee and light meals for approx. 450 guests per day
• Catering

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys varied tasks
• Is service-oriented and has a genuine interest in the guest
• Has natural hospitality and enjoys doing the little extra – for example, noticing and helping an elderly guest
• Is flexible and can step in where needed
• Is positive, responsible, and contributes to a good atmosphere in the team
• Has good teamwork skills and enjoys working with others
• Previous experience from service, restaurant, or café is an advantage

About the position

• Employment type: Hourly employment
• Hours: Hourly employment, extra as needed (NOTE: we have no shifts in July and early August)
• Working hours: Monday–Friday daytime, hours may vary
• Start date: As agreed
