SF Marina System is a world-leading provider of marine solutions, specializing in floating concrete pontoons and delivering solutions ranging from Swedish boat clubs to some of the world's most exclusive superyacht marinas. With projects worldwide and a strong order book, we are now looking for a Project Sales Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for large, technically complex, and international business deals.

This is a role for you who thrives in a small organization with high tempo and great freedom, where structure, responsibility, and business acumen are crucial.

About the Role

As a Project Sales Manager, you drive marine projects from initial inquiry and quotation to delivered and installed solutions for the customer. The projects vary in size from approximately 2–10 MSEK to large international deals in the multi-million class, often with long lead times, logistical challenges, and many stakeholders.

You work at the intersection of technology, project management, and business, acting as the hub between the customer, international representatives, production in Wallhamn, as well as external suppliers and consultants. The role involves significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to influence both the execution of projects and the development of internal working methods and processes.

What does Michael Sigvardsson, CEO, have to say about the role and the company?

"SF Marina is currently growing rapidly and has several large potential projects ahead, so the company expects to grow both in volume and in product offering. We will add more services, more products, grow in several markets, become more visible in the market, and hopefully take another step up.

It is an exciting and varied job where you get to work with products considered to be the best on the market. If you don't want to sit at the office doing exactly the same thing every day, this is the ideal job with variety. No day is like the other.

SF Marina has the usual benefits regarding health insurance, fitness allowance, and more, but the big factor for well-being is the family atmosphere in the office and among the representatives. Furthermore, SF Marina is building Gothenburg's coolest office, a floating office in Eriksberg."

Responsibilities

As a Project Sales Manager at SF Marina, your daily life will be dynamic and varied, with broad responsibility throughout the entire project lifecycle. You ensure that projects are planned, coordinated, and executed with high quality. The role involves working both strategically and operationally, building relationships, and acting as support for the customer from start to finish.

  • Responsible for schedules, economics, and technical content in several parallel projects
  • Coordinate technical specifications, drawing documentation, contract and delivery documentation, as well as change management
  • Specify requirements and coordinate deliveries from production in Wallhamn
  • Coordinate external suppliers, consultants, and international representatives
  • Support the customer in technical and project-related matters
  • Prepare delivery and installation in collaboration with customer resources or local contractors
  • Participate in customer and site visits, both within Sweden and internationally

Your Profile

For the role of Project Sales Manager, we are looking for you who are structured, self-initiative, and thrive with great responsibility. You have the ability to handle both the big picture and details, and are comfortable working with technical and logistical challenges.

We would like you to have:

  • Experience in project management within technology, construction/civil engineering, the marine industry, infrastructure, or similar
  • Ability to drive projects and business to completion in a business-like manner
  • Technical education, preferably a Civil Engineer degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Good understanding of technical connections, requirement specification, and coordination
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Meritorious: Experience with marine environments, hydraulics, nautical applications, road & water or civil engineering, as well as a general interest in boats and marine environments

What does Lina Odhe, Brand & Design Manager, have to say about the role and the company?

"The work is fun and varied. We listen to employees' ideas and decision-making paths are short. It is also possible to drive development projects if you have ideas, and we have many nice colleagues. In principle, all projects are also at interesting locations and in an international environment. By the water and with a connection to boating. Furthermore, every project is unique and tailored to the location and purpose."

What do we offer?

With us, you get a key position in a smaller team where experience and lack of hierarchy characterize the work climate. You become part of large international projects and get the opportunity to build a global network, which opens doors to new collaborations and development opportunities. We offer a high degree of freedom where you can influence both working methods and your own development. Your workplace will be in Gothenburg, and towards the end of the year, we move into our new floating office – a unique and inspiring environment that sets the tone for the future. Read more here!
