Summer Temp Staff for Cold Counter – ICA Stores in Lund and Surroundings

Do you want to work with food in a modern retail environment this summer? We are now recruiting summer temp staff for the cold counter at ICA stores in Lund and the surrounding area!

In the cold counter, you help create tasty, fresh, and inspiring meal solutions for our customers – from salads and sandwiches to ready-made dishes. Here, quality, pace, and passion for food are in focus. You will be involved in producing both hot and cold food as well as catering. Are you a retiree but want to come in and showcase your skills during the summer?

About the Role

As a cold counter employee, you work practically with cooking and preparing the store's finished products. You ensure that the counters are always well-stocked, fresh, and inviting, while following hygiene and food safety procedures. You will produce sandwich cakes, party platters, landgang (a type of Swedish sandwich platter), and other orders. You collaborate closely with your colleagues and contribute to a positive experience for customers.

• Have an interest in food and preferably experience from kitchens, restaurants, or retail
• Are detail-oriented, responsible, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Have an eye for presentation and quality
• Are service-oriented and enjoy working in a team
• Can work varying hours, including early mornings and weekends

About the Position

The positions are summer temporary assignments with varying hours during the period June–August, with the possibility of extension. Weeks 29-32 are prioritized. Salary according to collective agreement. Full-time/part-time.

Location: ICA stores in Lund and surrounding areas
