Hasslö Varv is a family-owned shipyard in Blekinge with roots dating back to 1927. We deliver complete solutions for boats and marine systems – from service and maintenance to large-scale installations of navigation and communication systems. With our own workshops and extensive experience, we combine technology, precision, and dedication for our commercial customers.

We are now looking to strengthen our team with you, an experienced technician specializing in navigation and communication systems. Our team consists of both experienced and newer colleagues, all of whom take responsibility for their tasks. Here, you will have the opportunity to tackle complex assignments, share your knowledge, and help drive our projects forward.

Job Responsibilities

As an experienced technician, you will play a key role in our push for navigation and communication technology, driving development forward and making a real difference. You will take responsibility for the entire workflow – from reading drawings, installation, and configuration to troubleshooting, maintenance, and customized solutions. Examples of tasks include:

• Installing and configuring navigation and communication systems, such as radar and chart plotters
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems in electronic systems
• Performing regular checks and maintenance to ensure systems operate optimally
• Working closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues

We are looking for someone with experience in navigation and communication systems. You have worked with the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of these systems and can independently handle complex assignments. Experience or education in electrical engineering and electronics is a plus.

To thrive and succeed with us, you need to be solution-oriented, able to work in a structured manner, and possess the ability to collaborate with colleagues – at Hasslö Varv, we help each other. A valid B-driver's license is required as some short work-related travel may occur. You must also be able to communicate fluently in Swedish.
