As Merchandise Flow Manager, you are responsible for all areas of the store related to the mechanical customer interaction, driving issues and activities to maximize NKI (Net Customer Index).

You have full personnel responsibility and achieve your goals through your employees' performance. You are a skilled communicator who leads, coaches, engages, and follows up on your employees based on common working methods. The main goal of the position is to strengthen the customer experience and ensure that we constantly strive to streamline processes within merchandise supply to achieve "Full, Fresh, and Fronted".

Your role includes workforce management during the store's various opening hours. The work is physically demanding. It is highly meritorious if you have previous store experience working with team picking, online orders, and fresh produce. Your tasks include:

  • Ensure that goals with action plans are established and followed up
  • Work with continuous process improvements for, for example, Team Picking, CAO, and minimizing FYS (Freshness Yield)
  • Responsible for the store's sales planning together with the Store Manager and Customer Flow Manager
  • Ensure efficient staffing for merchandise flow processes in the store
  • General store work and workforce management

You are part of the store's management team and thus have overall responsibility for the store's results. In the management team, you primarily drive development and activities within the merchandise flow. You report to the Store Manager.

The assignment includes covering for the Store Manager during short-term absences, such as illness or vacation, which implies overall responsibility for the store.

We expect you to have experience and education from the retail sector so that you know what is required to create an efficient and profitable operation.

The position is a permanent employment of 35 hours/week with a start date according to agreement. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the final application date. We apply a probationary period.

Education:

  • High school education is a requirement
  • Post-secondary education is meritorious

Experience/Special Competence:

  • The position requires broad experience and competence from the grocery trade
  • The position requires documented experience of leading employees
  • The position requires documented good results in operations with own profit responsibility
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, spoken and written, is a requirement
