We are seeking an Accounting Accountant for a well-established company in the retail sector. You will join a central finance department that supports multiple units in their financial operations. The role is broad, operational, and offers significant autonomy in an environment where pace and collaboration are central.

The work is primarily based on-site in Kalmar.

• Management of accounts payable

• Incoming and outgoing payments, as well as reminder management

• Cash reporting

• Ongoing bookkeeping

• Reconciliation of accounts

• Reporting to the Swedish Tax Agency and other authorities

• Monthly closing, annual closing, and annual reports

• Contact with owners, operations, and auditors

• Potential reporting for multiple companies within the group

• Independent handling of ongoing accounting

• Accurate and timely closing process

• Structure and quality in reconciliations and reporting

• Efficient work across multiple companies/units

Mandatory Competencies:

• Post-secondary education in economics/finance

• At least 3 years of experience as an accounting accountant

• Good experience with monthly closing

• Experience working with multiple companies/units in parallel

• System proficiency, preferably in Jeeves and/or Fortnox

Meritorious Skills:

• Experience with group reporting

• Experience from retail or similar operations

• Structured and meticulous

• Self-driven with a high sense of responsibility

• Collaborative

• Adaptable in a fast-paced environment

• Strong desire to develop and improve working methods
