About Us
The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Intensive Clinic (BIM) meets children aged 0-17 with severe psychiatric problems and often complex life situations. BIM Eskilstuna is responsible for the acute child psychiatry mandate for the northern part of the county during office hours. We also offer planned treatment interventions to patients who need more frequent contact or faster intervention than what the regular child psychiatry clinic can offer.

We strive to increase accessibility and provide equitable, efficient, and patient-focused care. We will become a team of eight employees from different professions and wish to further adapt and develop our treatment and collaboration efforts to meet the needs of patients and families. Currently, we have a need to continue developing our eating disorder care, and we are looking for someone with competence in eating disorders or who wishes to become skilled in treating this issue. A week with us could be distributed with the following tasks: Mon-Tue on-call work, Wed assessment work, Thu-Fri intensive interventions/eating disorder patients or other complex problems.
