Job Description

Responsibilities

As a System and Application Owner, the consultant has operational responsibility for the management object Planning of Operations' purchased and in-house developed systems and serves as a vital link between delivery teams, the business, and other IT functions. The consultant helps transform business needs into efficient IT solutions and contributes to the formulation of technical system requirements as well as lifecycle management of the IT environment.

The System and Application Owner will proactively work to identify and monitor new opportunities, with a strategic and forward-looking focus. The consultant will, both independently and in various collaborative forms, drive initiatives that add value, improve system processes, and promote the business's development forward. Acting as a supportive and helpful resource in ongoing projects and leading smaller assignments within their area of responsibility is part of the assignment.

The consultant will work together with other System and Application Owners and DevOps specialists in a newly formed team. Initially, the consultant will primarily have main responsibility for supporting two of the delivery teams that develop applications in C# and React running on Windows, but the team helps each other and ensures that operations can be conducted regardless of who is present.

The team also collaborates with management, the business, platform and infrastructure teams, and the IT security department.

The in-house developed systems are built in C++, C#, or Python and run on Linux, Windows, or Kubernetes. Since the business has high security requirements, we primarily work with on-prem solutions. For CI/CD, we use Azure DevOps (GitLab in the future), Argo CD, Artifactory, JFrog Xray, SonarQube, and Git. Tools for log management, monitoring, and observability include OP5, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana. For automation, Ansible, Terraform, and Helm are available.

The focus of the assignment will be on technical, coordinating, and administrative work, with the possibility of automation work if competence in the area exists. We do not expect you to have deep expertise in all the technologies we use, but that the team collectively has it and that you have a willingness to develop your competence in areas you do not yet master.

Requirements

1. At least 15 years of work experience as a System and Application Owner or other technical roles such as System Administrator, DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Technician, System Developer, IT Architect, IT Security Specialist, or similar, which has given you deep competence in configuration, operation, and management of applications, as well as a good understanding of IT infrastructure and IT security. Alternatively, at least 12 years of relevant work experience in the mentioned technical roles and a university/college education comprising at least 120 ECTS/180 hp in IT or another relevant equivalent education.
2. At least 7 years of work experience in configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Windows for applications written in e.g., C#.
3. At least 5 years of work experience in script programming with e.g., PowerShell, Python.
4. At least 3 years of work experience in configuration of monitoring, observability, log management with e.g., OP5, Loki, Grafana, Prometheus.
5. At least 3 years of work experience from an organization with very high IT security requirements and associated processes.
6. At least 3 years of work experience working in an agile team with agile methods and tool support such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
7. Good written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English.

Merits
