Are you an analytical logistician driven to optimize flows and eager to work with well-known brands in a dynamic environment? As a Supply Planner at Spendrups, you will take on significant responsibility to ensure products reach the warehouse on time, at the right cost, and with the highest quality.
About the Role
Spendrups is a family brewery that combines strong traditions with great innovative power. We are now seeking a Supply Planner for their flow team. In this role, you will become a central link in their supply chain, focusing on purchased finished goods from producers around the world.
You will join a dedicated and cheerful team of 13 people, where collaboration and a positive attitude are at the center. Four of your colleagues focus specifically on import issues. The position can be based at either the headquarters in Stockholm or at the facility in Grängesberg. Since a large part of the team and operations are located in Grängesberg, if you are based in Stockholm, you will spend time there, especially during your initial period, to build networks and understand the flow in depth.
This is a consulting assignment, meaning you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant for Spendrups. The assignment is initially for 6 months with good possibilities for extension.
You are offered:
- A central role: You will own your own flows and supplier relationships in a high-paced operation.
- Development journey: The opportunity to contribute to our journey from an operational focus to a more data-driven and proactive control (OTD, inventory turnover, and service level).
- Culture & Community: A non-hierarchical workplace where we value curiosity, the courage to ask questions, and having fun together.
Responsibilities
As a Supply Planner, you are responsible for the operational flow of purchased finished goods. You will work proactively to optimize inventory levels and ensure delivery accuracy.
- Managing the entire chain: from forecast follow-up and ordering to transport booking and delivery monitoring.
- Ensuring correct item data and handling any claims.
- Analyzing and following up on KPIs such as service level, inventory turnover, and delivery accuracy.
- Driving and participating in improvement work (LEAN) to lift processes from operational to strategic.
- Closer collaboration with internal parties such as the goods reception in Grängesberg, subsidiaries (e.g., Vinbolaget), and external logistics partners.
We are looking for you who
- Have a post-secondary education in logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
- Have practical work experience in purchasing, import, and transport planning.
- Are proficient in working with business systems and Excel. You have the ability to navigate complex data sets and filter out relevant information.
- Have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as you communicate with suppliers globally.
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience working with the M3 business system (formerly Movex).
- Work experience in Supply Chain with a focus on beverages, preferably wine or alcoholic products.
- Knowledge of handling excise goods and system support such as EMCS.
- Experience with the import of organic food and the TRACES system.
- Experience with improvement work according to LEAN methodology.
To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:
We place great importance on your personal qualities. We are looking for someone who is structured and self-reliant – you enjoy having a clear area of responsibility and drive your processes to completion. You have an analytical approach and make decisions based on data rather than gut feeling.
Since the role involves many contact points, you are communicative, non-hierarchical, and outgoing. You are a team player who dares to ask questions when new and is happy to share your energy with the group. Finally, you are flexible and can reprioritize when conditions change, which is a prerequisite in Spendrups' seasonal industry.
A prerequisite for starting the assignment is an approved background check conducted in the final stage of the process.
