ABOUT THE ROLE

As a SQL Developer, your primary task is to build and further develop data warehouses that form the basis for customer decision support in Insight – Insera's BI system. You will work with extracting data from various sources, linking it together, creating a solid structure, and building logic that ensures the data is used in the best possible way.

You will either work closely with customers to understand needs and requirements, or focus more on the technology and data logic behind the scenes – depending on who you are and what you enjoy most. At Insera, there are great opportunities to shape the role over time!

As a SQL Developer, you will, for example, work with:

• Extracting, processing, and validating data from various systems.

• Building and maintaining data warehouses with clear structure and logic.

• Working with SQL, integrations, and APIs.

• Designing ETL processes and creating data models that support analysis and reporting.

• Collaborating with business consultants, developers, and other colleagues in the team.

• Contributing suggestions on how data can be complemented and improved to create more value for the customer.

You will become part of a team of 5 people, where you take significant personal responsibility but also prioritize helping your colleagues when needed. Sometimes you work on several assignments simultaneously, sometimes focused on one. Regardless, your role is to ensure the data is correct, logical, and useful.

WHO ARE YOU

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience working with data who enjoys working practically with databases. You don't need to be an expert in everything from the start, but you need an understanding of data logic, structure, and how to create value with data.

To thrive in this role, we believe you are analytical, structured, and enjoy solving problems. You are confident and used to driving your own processes and working independently, but you are also a team player who appreciates good collaboration with your colleagues.

To thrive in this role, you have:

• Very good skills in SQL.

• Experience working with large data volumes and complex data structures.

• Understanding of how to build data models, create keys, and link data from multiple sources.

It is an advantage if you also have experience with (but not required):

• Decision support systems or BI tools (e.g., Power BI or Qlik)

• ETL processes or data integrations

Start Date: ASAP or by agreement.

Location: Work is performed from the office in Norrköping, with some possibility for remote work up to 2 days/week.
