What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring the guest is always the focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and pays attention to the details. You ensure the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your lips and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most issues and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. Your area of responsibility also includes administrative work, security duties, and sales.

Work at the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks regarding guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working in shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Who are you?

To fit the role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling many different things happening at once. It is very important that you can convey excellent hospitality to the hotel's guests.

You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a work tool.

Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. Speaking an additional language is an asset.

However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit the role, you need to be an attentive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

Information about the position

The position is a part-time fixed-term contract.

This is a summer position covering day, evening, and night shifts. You will learn all routines for all different shifts. The first part of the employment is scheduled at night, where you first learn the routines before handling a full week independently. After this, you will receive training on day and evening shifts, after which you will be scheduled for day and evening shifts with the possibility of picking up extra night shifts. The position runs from May to August with the possibility of extension.
