About the role

As a Senior C++ Developer with our client, you will work on developing advanced embedded systems in an agile environment. You will become part of a team where you develop and maintain software for systems with high demands on performance and reliability. The work involves creating robust and efficient solutions, managing version control, and collaborating closely with other developers, testers, and system engineers to drive projects forward.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with modern technology and complex systems where you can use your technical expertise to contribute to innovative solutions. You will play a central role in the development process, from requirements and design to implementation and testing.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable and who enjoys working both on-site at the client and from the office in Västerås, depending on the assignment. Some of the assignments you may be assigned are security-classified, which means a security clearance process will be conducted.

We are looking for you who

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in system development in C++ and embedded systems.
  • Have a completed relevant technical education (Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent).
  • Have a good habit of working agilely (Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
  • Have good knowledge of version control, such as Git.
  • Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English as both languages are used in daily work.
  • Have a driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience with MatLab and/or Simulink.
  • A background in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and test-driven development.
  • Knowledge of real-time systems or safety-critical systems.
