The Management Support Division is a university-wide support function. We support the university management, faculties, departments, and various central bodies within the university, as well as being responsible for the MDU brand and internal and external communication. The division also handles certain business development issues and provides legal support to the university. We work close to operations and together with those we support. All to understand actual needs and proactively support all management levels in implementing and developing the university's operations.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can strengthen the strategic development of MDU's intranet and external website mdu.se for one year. You have a coaching working style and work closely with content owners and editors regarding needs analysis, planning, and development to achieve an improved user experience.

You thrive in collaborating on problem-solving with both internal and external resources, and you perform simpler development work, changes, and troubleshooting yourself. You are responsible for MDU's agreements with web suppliers and, if necessary, you order and project-manage external technical consultants.

You work actively with technical search optimization to strengthen MDU's presence in digital flows, and you monitor and conduct regular analyses as a basis for improving the websites' performance.

You are responsible for ensuring that the websites' appearance and design follow MDU's visual identity, that there are needs-adapted templates and manuals, and that there are routines for legal requirements such as accessibility.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• A university degree with a focus on IT/web or equivalent education deemed relevant for the position
• At least 3 years of work experience with administrative responsibility for larger websites and project management of web development projects
• Very good knowledge of CMS systems with documented experience of user-centered development within web and CMS, preferably Sitevision
• Experience in process development in close collaboration with content owners and editors, and from project managing external consultants
• Knowledge in web accessibility
• Good understanding of communication at a strategic and operational level
• Fluency in spoken and written Swedish
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
