Scandic Crown is located just a stone's throw from Gothenburg Central Station, with everything you need close by. We are now looking for a Receptionist to join Scandic Crown.

What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring the guest is always the focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and pays attention to the details. You ensure the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your lips and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most issues and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. Your area of responsibility also includes administrative work, security duties, and sales activities.

Work at the reception involves checking guests in and out, welcoming them, and providing the information they need for their stay. You handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with a focus on guest satisfaction and sales.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you are comfortable working in shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Who are you?

To fit the role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey excellent hospitality to the hotel's guests.

You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a work tool.

Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. Speaking an additional language is an asset.

However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit the role, you need to be an attentive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

Information about the position

The position is a permanent part-time employment, 80%.
