About the role
Ellevio is one of Sweden's largest electricity grid companies, working to deliver safe and sustainable electricity to over one million customers. With a focus on modernizing and future-proofing the electricity grids, they contribute to the transition towards a climate-smart society. On behalf of Ellevio, we are now seeking a consultant for a one-year assignment to cover a parental leave.
In the role of Energy & Revenue Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing energy flows and relating them to costs and revenues in the electricity grid. You will become a key person in Ellevio's transition to new data support and play a central role in elevating the team's analytical capabilities. You will join an engaged team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are in focus. The role and the team's work focus on the company's processes for closing accounts, business planning, and operational follow-up. These processes are of strategic importance and require both an administrative mindset and the ability to see the bigger picture.
Ellevio is located in modern offices on Valhallavägen near Gärdet and applies a hybrid policy, which implies some possibility for remote work when needed. We are looking for someone who can start the assignment in June and has the possibility to work for approximately one year. This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work on assignment for Ellevio.
Responsibilities
In the role of Energy & Revenue Analyst, you will among other things:
- Analyze energy flows and relate them to costs and revenues in the electricity grid
- Handle large amounts of data to calculate results based on customer base and energy volumes
- Calculate forecasts and business plans based on e.g. growth, usage patterns, and electricity market prices
- Calculate and report gross margin for the electricity grid operations based on energy volumes during monthly closing
We are looking for you who
- Have a completed academic degree in engineering, industrial economics, or similar
- Have a basic economic understanding, e.g. related to economic calculation, accounting, follow-up, and business planning
- Have advanced skills in Excel
- Have experience/knowledge of data processing and visualization
- Have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience in the energy industry
- Experience with Python, SQL, and/or PowerBI
To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:

- Solution-oriented and skilled in collaboration
- Ability to quickly grasp complex issues
