TeknikAkademin Norden AB is seeking a teacher in train mechanics with experience as a train mechanic or train technician.

In this role, you will be responsible for educating the technicians of tomorrow within the railway industry, focusing on how trains and rail-bound vehicles function, are maintained, and are troubleshooted in practice.

You will contribute your professional experience and provide students with a clear connection between theory and real-world tasks within workshop and depot environments.

• Teach within train mechanics and vehicle systems

• Introduce electrical systems, mechanics, and technical components in trains

• Teach troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance

• Work with safety procedures and industry requirements within the railway sector

• Conduct teaching through practical sessions, case studies, and projects

• Has experience as a train mechanic, train technician, or similar

• Has worked with maintenance, service, or repair of vehicles/systems

• Has knowledge in electricity, mechanics, and technical systems

• Is accustomed to working in a structured manner with a focus on safety and quality

• Has strong pedagogical skills and can convey knowledge clearly

• Has good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
