Role Description

The Workplace Coordinator/Occupational Health and Safety Engineer is responsible for independently driving the project's occupational health and safety work and serving as the project's contact person for clients, project partners, and suppliers.

The main task of the role is to compile, maintain, and revise the occupational health and safety plan for the current project, which includes participating in relevant meetings, establishing routines and control plans, and ensuring compliance with these.

The role includes, among other things:

• Compiling, maintaining, and revising the project's risk register
• Compiling training materials for the project's occupational health and safety training
• Keeping the project's training log up to date
• Conducting occupational health and safety training within the project
• Reviewing and providing input to work preparations from an occupational health and safety perspective
• Reporting, investigating, developing measures, and providing feedback on measures regarding the project's accidents and near-misses
• Following up on occupational health and safety measures and ensuring compliance
• Conducting safety rounds and maintaining protocols during the rounds
• Being responsible for the project's ID06 registration
• Conducting safety and environmental accident drills for everyone in the project and documenting these

Competence

We are looking for someone with good knowledge in improvement, safety, health, and occupational health and safety work, who enjoys being out on projects, is driven by communication, and is structured and solution-oriented.

You should have relevant post-secondary education such as KY training (Construction Safety), civil engineering education, occupational health and safety education, or equivalent work experience. You must have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar position with good references.
