We are now looking for a Strategic Purchaser with extended responsibilities: You will work on broad, business-critical procurement tasks while serving as a team leader for a group of purchasers. This role is for you if you want to combine strategic procurement work with leadership and thrive in a dynamic, business-oriented environment.

What the Company Offers

As a Strategic Purchaser with team leadership responsibilities, you will receive a broad and developmental assignment where you will:

  • Lead and coach a team of purchasers, contributing to competence development, prioritization, and workload distribution.
  • Develop and drive procurement strategies for multiple procurement categories, including direct and indirect categories as well as business-critical services.
  • Conduct supplier analysis, tendering, negotiations, and contract work with a focus on long-term sustainability, quality, and sustainability.
  • Identify cost savings, risks, and improvement opportunities that create business value.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities support the organization's goals and needs.
  • Actively contribute to the development of Komatsu Forest's procurement processes and ways of working.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who wants to combine strategic procurement with clear leadership responsibilities. You enjoy a role where you can drive development while supporting others in their work. We believe you have:

  • Several years of experience in strategic procurement, negotiation, and preferably category management.
  • Experience in leading, coaching, or coordinating others – formally or informally.
  • Relevant education in economics, engineering, logistics, or equivalent.
  • Analytical skills and strong communication abilities.
  • The ability to build relationships and manage various stakeholders.
  • A humble attitude and a drive to improve and develop.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Knowledge of Infor XA, Rillion, or PowerBI is a plus.
