We are looking for a Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist for a full-time assignment starting as soon as possible. The assignment is expected to last until the end of the year. We are primarily looking for a local candidate, but remote work is possible provided you can be on-site for the introduction.

About the role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and following up on procurement processes in close collaboration with the business. You will ensure that purchases are made in a commercially sound, cost-effective manner and in compliance with applicable regulations. The role involves numerous points of contact, both internally and externally.

Your main responsibilities

In this role, you will plan and execute procurements, as well as prepare procurement documentation and contracts. You will also be responsible for supplier dialogues and bid evaluations, acting as a support to the business on matters concerning purchasing and contracts. Furthermore, you will ensure that procurements are carried out in accordance with applicable legislation and internal guidelines, and follow up on contracts and supplier relationships to ensure quality and commercial viability over time.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and has a business-oriented approach. You thrive in an advisory role and find it easy to collaborate with different parts of the organization.

We prefer that you:

• Have experience in procurement or qualified purchasing work.
• Have knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and Public Procurement Act for Utilities (LUF).
• Have strong administrative and analytical skills.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

As a person, we believe you are structured and meticulous in your working methods, while also having a business-oriented and solution-focused approach. You enjoy collaboration and have strong communication skills, which allows you to easily build trust in dialogue with both colleagues and external parties. Furthermore, you are accustomed to taking responsibility and driving processes forward in an efficient and goal-oriented manner.
