Welcome to apply for the position of Teacher for Leisure-Time Center (Fritidshem) at Mossleskolan.

Mossleskolan is a school for grades F-3 located in the western part of Värnamo. The school has approximately 265 students distributed across four leisure-time center departments. Our expectation and driving force are that all students want to, can, and will succeed!

The school is characterized by a pleasant and welcoming working climate where collaboration is central to student learning. Mossleskolan has an active student health team located on-site, which includes a counselor, school nurse, special needs educator, special needs teacher, vice principal, and principal, with access to a school psychologist and school speech therapist.

Responsibilities

You will work to plan and conduct high-quality teaching based on the curriculum for leisure-time centers. Teaching in physical education, art, or music may also occur. We continuously work to develop and adapt teaching through collegial learning. Collaboration with other educators in several teams and students' guardians is an important part of the work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher for leisure-time centers. It is an asset if you have the qualification to teach physical education, art, or music. You are confident in your pedagogical leadership with good insight into the school's mission and the ability to create structure, a calm working environment, and motivation based on each student's unique prerequisites. You should also find it easy to collaborate and build trusting relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. You must have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Conditions
