Description

Rörstorpsskolan is a multicultural school located in the central parts of Värnamo. The school has approximately 330 students from preschool class to grade 3.

Student development work is a given for us, and we weave it into all aspects, including teaching time, leisure time, and recess.

Responsibilities

You are offered a position as a PE teacher responsible for physical education in grades 1–3. The work involves planning, monitoring, and documenting students' skill development. Together with our activity group, you will have the opportunity to develop our activity days, such as school jogging and track and field days. You will be part of a network with other PE teachers in the municipality, working together on the development of physical education. Naturally, you will also belong to a team of other educators at the school who teach in classes and/or at our after-school centers.

The job also includes taking some responsibility for recess activities and supporting the after-school center a few afternoons per week. The position is according to Appendix M.

The most important thing is that you always work for the students and their best interests. You greet them with a smile in the morning, even on rainy days. Like us, you are convinced that working together is a key factor for success.

Qualifications

We are looking for a primary school teacher with a license in physical education. Additional subject licenses are considered an asset.

You should find it easy to collaborate and create motivation based on each student's unique prerequisites.

Good IT skills and experience working with digital tools as part of daily life are required.

Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.
