Contribute to the future of healthcare! For our adult education program, we are seeking a qualified vocational teacher within care and welfare.

At Vetlanda Learning Center, which is Vetlanda Municipality's consolidated organization for adult education, approximately 600 students study. Here we offer several school forms and a wide range of courses. We are a flexible organization that meets the needs for development among both our students and staff. We also work in close collaboration with the business community to meet the needs for development within companies as well.

We are looking for you who are a care teacher, preferably with a nursing background, and who is genuinely interested in people, with a commitment to building knowledge in others. In adult education, you meet each student based on their needs and prerequisites.

In your work, you have extensive student contact and close collaboration with colleagues. With us, you meet students from several cultures and with different linguistic backgrounds.

As a care teacher with us, you will, among other things, be responsible for:

• teaching
• supervision
• planning
• grading
• student follow-ups
• information meetings

As a person, you are secure and stable and have good knowledge of the care and welfare sector. You find it easy to adapt to changing circumstances and contribute with ideas and solutions in your work. You have good pedagogical skills and find it easy to engage and motivate others.

Collaboration and joint planning take place continuously with colleagues, work teams, and the entire school, as we strive to get a holistic view of the students' knowledge development and needs. Meeting each student from a relational perspective and having high, reasonable expectations for each individual are fundamental thoughts that are important to us.

• Qualified vocational teacher within care and welfare.
• Education as a nurse is an asset.
