The Adapted School (grades 1-6) is located in the newly built Trälleborg School. The school has approximately 450 students distributed across grades 4-6 and the Adapted Primary School (grades 1-6). The leisure-time center will serve students belonging to the Adapted Primary School in grades 1-3, while our students in grades 4-6 are integrated into Trälleborg School's leisure-time center.

We work with a focus on both the group and the individual by promoting language development, providing accessible teaching, meaningful breaks, and a low-arousal approach. Working in teams with a holistic perspective and flexibility throughout the student's day is seen as a natural part of our work.

The Adapted Primary School is responsible for ensuring that every student, upon completing their schooling, can use the Swedish language in speech and writing in a nuanced manner.

Responsibilities

During the school day, you will use your competence as a leisure-time teacher as an extra educator in the classroom – working with both groups and individuals, or taking responsibility for aesthetic subjects based on qualifications and needs within the operation. During mornings and afternoons, you will be responsible for the pedagogical work and the students' learning at the leisure-time center together with the rest of the team.

Qualifications

Teacher certification with a focus on leisure-time centers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about leisure-time pedagogy and the mission of the leisure-time center, and who desires close collaboration with colleagues as well as developing the school's leisure-time and educational activities. You base your work on each student's needs and prerequisites.

Personal suitability is decisive for the appointment. It is important that you attach a cover letter and CV with references.

Terms

We conduct continuous selection and interviews. The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.
