About the role

As an employee with us, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model regarding engagement, drive, and customer service. We are currently looking for a store salesperson for our garden department with a focus on garden machinery and grills.

Your main tasks will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you will ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of typical tasks

• Active sales of the product range within gardening and garden machinery
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area
• Responsible for incoming goods and display, as well as for set-ups and reconstructions within the department
• Analyze the department's product presentation
• Assist in other departments when needed

Your profile

• High school education or equivalent, along with experience in retail
• Relevant professional experience/education in gardening and garden machinery
• Passionate about offering our customers the best possible service
• Realize the customer's project through professional advice on our wide product range
• As a person, you are stress-tolerant, flexible, and solution-oriented
• Meritorious if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4)

Working hours/Duration: Seasonal employment, fixed-term. Part-time 30 hours/week. Fixed work schedule mornings, evenings, and every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement
