Innovita School Luleå is a K–9 primary school and integrated preschool where safety, curiosity, and optimism for the future are at the heart of everything we do. Located in a quiet area close to both nature and the city, the school offers excellent conditions for learning in a harmonious environment. Here, students are met by engaged teachers, clear structures, and a warm culture where every child is seen as unique. We actively work to build relationships, create participation, and develop teaching so that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
At Innovita School, we value close collaboration between the school, after-school care, and preschool class, striving to provide our students with a consistent thread throughout their schooling. We have a strong focus on both knowledge development and social learning, and we believe in the power of collegial collaboration and systematic quality work. Here, the future is shaped with joy, care, and high ambitions together.
Challenge the norm, develop teaching
Do you want to work at a small school with a big heart, where every student counts and every adult makes a difference?
We are a K–9 school where we truly know our students, each other, and our mission. The smaller scale allows us to collaborate quickly, make decisions, and adapt when needed. We rely on each other and see this as a strength. Here, there is a culture where we strive to help each other, support one another, and find solutions together, always with the students' best interests in focus.
We are an organization that values present pedagogues. For us, this means being where the students are: in the classroom, during breaks, and in transitions throughout the day. Adult presence is a natural part of our working method and contributes to both safety and a conducive learning atmosphere.
We are currently seeking a teacher for the lower primary grades who is a safe and clear leader in the classroom. You have the ability to create structure, a calm working environment, and good relationships, and you feel comfortable independently leading teaching and the group forward. At our school, we share responsibility for the students, but it is taken for granted that every teacher also has a stable leadership style in their own teaching. You thrive in an environment where you collaborate closely with colleagues, but where you are also expected to take clear responsibility for your assignment and your students.
We have a strong culture around competence development and collegial learning, with a special focus on cooperative learning. Here, there is both interest and good conditions to develop teaching together, and we work actively in several forums, both in smaller working groups and in larger joint contexts. An important part of our working method is that we actively work to find a shared vision between the school and after-school care, despite having different roles and tasks. We see the student's entire day as a joint mission and prioritize the collaboration between teachers and after-school staff highly. The flexibility in the organization is built on us supporting each other. This means that you both give and receive support in daily life, and that we together create a sustainable work environment where we share responsibility and experiences.
Our student health team is a natural and present part of the operation. You have access to support in student matters and do not work alone on issues that may be complex or demanding; we tackle them together. We believe you are solution-oriented, professional, and have a fundamental security in your professional role. You contribute to a positive work climate, share experiences, and support colleagues, while standing firm in your own leadership.
For those who wish, there is an opportunity to take an active role in the school's development work and, in the long term, also a more leading assignment. We would like to see that you are flexible and open to, over time, working towards the middle grades as well, based on the organization's needs and your strengths.
