Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager, you will become part of the management team and work closely with managers, the Head of Operations (HSL), and other key functions. You will work strategically and operationally to strengthen quality and promote innovation. You are a vital support function to the Area Manager. You are the engine of our development and quality work, driving changes together with the management team to make the operations:
- more efficient
- more modern
- more secure in terms of legal rights
You move between strategy and practice. Sometimes you lead a workshop or conduct training; other times you analyze data, prepare documentation, or support a unit manager in implementing routines. The variation is great, and so is the opportunity to influence.
Your responsibilities include:
- Identify areas for development and create smart, sustainable ways of working.
- Implement new routines, processes, and digital solutions.
- Support our units in quality work, follow-up, and self-inspections.
- Conduct analyses, prepare reports, and present results to the management team.
- Plan and conduct training within LSS and Social Psychiatry.
- Lead workshops, networks, and various types of development initiatives.
- Collaborate with managers and other functions within and outside the organization.
- Monitor the external environment.
- Respond to motions, interpellations, questions, and statements from politicians and other authorities.
- Participate in relevant projects.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a relevant university education, such as social work, behavioral science, nursing, social sciences, law, or another education we deem equivalent.
- Has extensive experience in LSS, social psychiatry, or HSL, preferably in several of these areas.
- Is accustomed to working with quality development and change processes.
- Has good knowledge and experience of working within municipal operations.
- Is confident in leading others, both in meetings and in development work.
- Has a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
- Enjoys structure, analysis, and working with data as a decision support tool.
As a person, you are structured, analytical, and have the ability to drive development processes with persistence. You are communicative, responsive, and have an easy way of building good relationships. You enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with others.
In Lidingö Municipality, we work based on the values: engaged, professional, and proactive. We expect you to contribute with a large dose of engagement, a professional approach, and the initiative to continuously develop yourself and the operations.
Employment Terms
- Employment type: Permanent employment.
- Duration: 6 months or longer.
- Salary: Individual salary setting.
- Start date: According to agreement.
We offer a workplace where you have the opportunity to grow and develop. With us, it is natural that we learn from each other and that we together create a working environment where everyone feels comfortable and involved. Welcome with your application!
Important to know: In Lidingö Municipality, it is required that you present an extract from the police criminal register prior to employment in operations within elderly care and disability support. You can request this extract on the police website: Police Authority (polisen.se) (https://www.polisen.se)
Before the recruitment process, Lidingö Municipality has decided on recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore decline contact with media salespeople, recruitment websites, and similar.
