Readiness Strategist for Consulting Assignment in Stockholm

Do you have experience working with analysis, planning, and coordination within security and readiness? Then this might be something for you! For a municipality, we are now looking for a readiness strategist for a full-time assignment starting no later than May 4th. The assignment runs for six months with the possibility of extension. You will be based at the client's office in southern Stockholm, with some flexibility for remote work.

About the Assignment

As a readiness strategist, you will help develop and strengthen the technical and property management's work to secure the municipality's critical societal functions. In this assignment, you will work at both strategic and operational levels to ensure that the organization has a long-term sustainable and resilient capacity to handle disruptions, crises, and changed security conditions.

You are responsible for driving analyses, coordinating readiness measures, and supporting operations in planning, preparation, and implementation of measures that strengthen the organization's robustness. The work is done in close collaboration with functions within property, operations, as well as water and sewage, as well as with the municipality's central readiness function and external actors such as the rescue service and authorities within total defense.

Your main tasks include the following:

• Lead and conduct risk, vulnerability, and security protection analyses.
• Be responsible for the crisis management plan.
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate training sessions.
• Act as the administration's contact person in security and readiness issues.
• Support departments and units in working with secure communication solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Education in security, crisis readiness, civil protection, or another relevant area is a requirement.
• Experience working with analysis, planning, or coordination within security, readiness, or continuity management is a requirement.
• Experience working strategically and practically with issues concerning security and readiness is a requirement.
• Experience working with risk and vulnerability analyses and security protection analyses is a requirement.
• Experience in conducting training, carrying out information campaigns, and leading exercises is a requirement.
• Experience working according to legislation and guidelines within security and readiness is a requirement.
• Experience working within a politically controlled organization, municipal or other public sector is an asset.
