Do you want to help shape the future of digital information management? We are looking for a system developer who wants to contribute to the work with e-archives within SkånEarkiv – Sweden's largest collaborative organization for e-archives. With us, archivists and system developers work together in a dynamic environment where development, collaboration, and social benefit are the focus. The position is located in Lund Municipality, which is the host municipality, and is part of the Information Management unit.

About the role and your tasks

As a system developer at SkånEarkiv, you will work on deliveries for the e-archives of 24 municipalities. You will analyze database tables and XML files to determine which information needs to be processed in the tools that are part of the e-archive. You will write code in SQL and build models to import data. You will also build search indexes in SQL Server, create database queries in JSON to load data to the web, and create XSLT to display imported data.

We are looking for you who

have the will and interest to work with digital information management and electronic archiving. You have a relevant university or college education, alternatively a degree from a professional university college or other education in combination with work experience that the employer deems adequate. If you also have further education in, for example, data management, information management, or other courses relevant to the assignment, it is meritorious.

To succeed in the assignment, you need very good knowledge and experience in relational databases (SQL, MS SQL Server). We also appreciate if you have previously worked with mapping, information transformation/information modeling, or similar. You need to have an understanding of data models.

It will facilitate your assignment if you have competence in the following technologies and tools:

• XML and XPath
• API/JSON
• CSS
• XSLT
• Marshal OAIS and Marshal ETL

You organize and structure your work and take the initiative to development and find solutions to problems that arise. Your approach is pragmatic and you have a good ability to prioritize correctly under time pressure. You are attentive and accommodating in your approach and have an interest, will, and ability to help others. You have specialist knowledge at a high level that you both maintain and develop.
