About the role
At Danvikshem, your main task as a Nursing Assistant is to ensure that our residents feel well. You do this by providing support to our residents and performing care and nursing interventions. You receive a lot of appreciation in return, a feeling that makes you feel good too!
The work is done based on clear planning and routines. You work together with engaging and knowledgeable colleagues. Care and nursing for a resident take place in close collaboration between nursing assistants and other professions such as registered nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and activity leaders. All to provide the best possible care and nursing for every resident.
Make use of your full professional competence With us, you get the opportunity to work with what you are best at. As a trained Nursing Assistant, this means you only work within your field of education – care and nursing. Cleaning is handled by our cleaning staff, and meals are prepared by our skilled chefs in our own kitchen. This allows you to focus on the care and the people living here. Simply put, perform the tasks you are educated for!
We are now looking for new colleagues for three permanent night shifts on our dementia units:
two positions at 76.2% (16 shifts over 6 weeks)
one position at 85.7% (17 shifts over 6 weeks)
Your knowledge and experience
We are looking for a fully qualified Nursing Assistant with a few years of experience working in elderly care, who shares our genuine interest and commitment to working with the elderly.
Your personal qualities are important to us, therefore we are looking for someone who:
enjoys taking responsibility and working independently
has a strong sense of service
is willing to share your knowledge with your colleagues
has the ability to see and understand the individual's needs and wishes
wishes to provide good and thoughtful care.
We also have some requirements
You are a trained Nursing Assistant with a few years of experience from working in elderly care
You have good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
You have good computer skills.
Merits:
Experience of working nights in elderly care
Education in dementia care.
About the recruitment process
Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the final application date – therefore, it is recommended not to delay your application.
Before any employment, an extract from the criminal record register together with a valid photo ID must be presented. If you are called for an interview, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
Before any potential night employment, a medical check-up will be conducted by our occupational health service.
A probationary period may apply.
