Do you want to combine your studies in supply chain with practical experience at a global industrial company? We are now looking for a part-time student assistant in operational purchasing for our client in Svedala, a leading company in the mining industry. As a student assistant in purchasing, you will support the purchasing team in their daily work with a focus on standardized purchasing processes. The role is perfect for you who want to gain a concrete understanding of how the supply chain works in practice – from needs in the system to completed orders.

The work is largely administrative and system-based, where you handle volume-based tasks related to purchasing. You will primarily work with simpler suppliers and standard orders, but in the long run, there is an opportunity to take on broader responsibilities.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Management of purchase orders in the business system
• Call-offs against existing suppliers (standardized purchases)
• Updating the supplier register
• Maintenance of price lists and item data
• Support the purchasing team in their daily work, especially during the summer

You will receive an introduction in the spring/summer to then be able to work more independently during the summer when the need is greatest.

• Are studying supply chain, logistics, industrial economics, or similar
• Have at least 1 year left of your studies (graduation no earlier than June 2027)
• Have an interest in purchasing
• Have an understanding of the flow from customer needs to delivery
• Are used to working in systems or have an easy time getting into new systems
• Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English

This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Friday.

Scope: 1-2 days a week during the semester, full-time during the summer. Location: Svedala. Start: Immediately.
