We are looking for a Team Leader for our event department

About the company

The company we are recruiting for specializes in developing its staff, investing heavily in internal development and training. The company is now focusing on a major expansion and needs to recruit new leaders who can drive their sales organization forward. The company is primarily looking for someone for their Telephony sales department, but they also have other departments that occasionally need new recruits. For the right person, there is also an opportunity to advance to sales manager.

About the position

You will be responsible for a team of 5-10 salespeople. You will manage the daily operations and ensure that your team meets its budget. You will also have some personal sales time as needed, but your main focus will be on the salespeople. You will work at attractive events with booths that attract customers.

The job as Team Leader

To succeed as a team leader, you still need to have an interest in sales and enjoy it. If you feel you are done with sales, you will not succeed well as a leader of the same. You need to have good social skills and enjoy developing people and building relationships. You need to be attentive and have a focus on details.

Qualifications

You do not need previous leadership experience, but you need to have worked at least one year as a salesperson to succeed in this position. You will be trained from the start with everything you need to know to get a good start, including leadership. You will meet your customers and salespeople face to face, so you need to have good social skills and enjoy engaging in dialogue. Being fluent in Swedish is a requirement.

Salary

The salary is based on a fixed salary of 30,000 plus commission on your and your team's sales. The salary amounts to 60,000 when you reach the budget.
